Capgemini Blockchain
You probably know blockchain as the technology behind cryptocurrency such as the Bitcoin. But what is blockchain and what other applications does it have? There are multiple ways to use blockchain, but when should you use it and which of these options should you choose? In this lecture from Capgemini, these questions and more will be answered on the basis of their experience in the IT industry.

Curavista How can you help people to stay healthy?
How can you help containing a disease? That is the question Curavista wants to answer with the platform PGO. Getting a grip on disease and health, from one overview, together with your caregiver. That sounds simple but asks for a multidiciplinary team of ICT specialists, programme managers, medical specialists and implementation managers.

Everest Why on earth do I need to answer all these irrelevant questions when I’m simply applying for healthcare allowance? Or my mortgage, or insurance…? And when I’ve struggled through all of these nonsense questions, why do I have to wait for weeks for a reply? There must be a better way, surely?! Everest sees a world in which people and IT enhance eachother, where complexity is kept to a minimum and this all is achieved with custom service without a surcharge. Charley and Wouter will introduce Everest as a company and give a demonstration of what is possible with their tool Blueriq. This presentation is very well suited for information scientist, but also interesting for computer scientists. Depending on the audience, this presentation will be either in English or Dutch.
By: Charley Gielkens (Business Engineer and former boardmember of A-Eskwadraat) and Wouter van den Berg (Senior Business Consultant)

The day will begin with a general introduction about Optiver and a short introduction about Market Making (our core activity), before we will give you an insight into our Research department. By playing the game “Guess the unknown” we will explain more about the role and daily routine of a Researcher.
