Next event: Career Symposium on 1st of May
The symposium consists of three lectures of 45 minutes each, given by representatives of the participating company. After the symposium, there are free pizzas and drinks available for all participants. This is the perfect opportunity to ask any questions you might have to the company speakers.
The planning is as follows:
15:15 - 16:00: Talk by TNO
16:15 - 17:00: Talk by d-fine
17:15 - 18:00: PhD Talk
18:00 - 20:00: Free drinks reception with free pizzas!
For mathematics bachelor students: one can hand in a summary of one of the talks at the symposium for the “Caleidoscooplezing”.
IMPORTANT: Contrary to what has been announced earlier, classes of the mathematics bachelor programme will still take place during the symposium.
For physics students: during the symposium, there are no classes for the bachelor programme.

About the PhD Talk
The two PhD speakers are Olaf Massen and Thibeau Wouters.
Olaf Massen: "I am a third-year PhD candidate at the GRASP institute for gravitational waves and subatomic physics here at Utrecht University. I conduct research on the properties of quark-gluon plasma using a combination of computer simulations (Trajectum) and experimental data from the ALICE experiment at CERN in Geneva."
